We built a stage
for everyone to shine.
Artist House started as one nervous open-mic night in a tiny Ahmedabad cafe. Today it's a weekly ritual, a warm crowd, and a launchpad for singers, poets, comics and storytellers across Gujarat.
Our story
It began in 2020 with a borrowed speaker, a hand-drawn poster and eleven people brave enough to grab the mic. We believed every artist deserves a warm, judgment-free stage and every audience deserves something real, not rehearsed.
Word spread the way good things do in Ahmedabad, over chai and shared reels. A monthly night became weekly. Poets brought comics, comics brought musicians, musicians brought their whole hostel. Somewhere along the way we stopped being an event and became a community.
Now we curate open mics, plan full-scale corporate shows, and help first-timers turn stage fright into a standing ovation. Same borrowed-speaker warmth, a much bigger family.

Our mission
To give every artist in Gujarat a stage that feels like home, warm, well-run and genuinely rooting for them, and to give audiences nights they'll still be talking about next week.
Our vision
A thriving live-arts scene where talent from any neighbourhood, of any experience level, can be discovered, celebrated and paid, and where "let's go to Artist House tonight" is the easiest yes in the city.
The journey so far
From one shaky mic stand to the city's favourite live nights.
The first mic
Eleven brave souls, one cafe corner, and a night that refused to end. Artist House was born.
We went weekly
Demand outgrew the monthly slot. Weekly open mics became the ritual regulars planned their week around.
Onto the big stages
Companies asked us to bring the magic to their events. Corporate shows and curated line-ups joined the family.
A real community
Hundreds of artists, mentors and a crowd that shows up rain or shine. Ahmedabad had a live-arts home.
Just getting warmed up
1200+ artists later, we still treat every debut like it matters, because it does.
What we stand for
Six little promises we make at every single show.
Be real
We celebrate genuine voices. No auto-tuned personas, just artists being unapologetically themselves.
Everyone belongs
First-timers and headliners share the same mic and the same warm welcome. No cliques, no gatekeeping.
Sweat the details
Sound check, lighting, running order, we obsess over the small stuff so artists can just perform.
Keep it fresh
New formats, new themes, new surprises. We never let a night feel like a rerun.
Kindness first
The crowd cheers, never jeers. It is the golden rule that makes debuts possible.
Help artists grow
Feedback, mentorship and paid gigs, we want you back next time, better and bolder.
The people behind the mic
A small, slightly caffeinated crew that lives for that moment the room goes quiet, then erupts.
Artistic Director
Creative vision & line-ups
Curates every night, scouts new talent, and makes sure no two shows ever feel the same.
Operations Lead
Logistics & stagecraft
Turns chaos into clockwork, venues, sound, lighting and running order, all handled.
Artist Relations
Community & support
Your first point of contact, calming nerves and cheering the loudest from the wings.
Plus the real stars, the volunteers, regulars and every single artist who has ever said yes to the mic. This community is Artist House.
Why artists love us
More than a stage, a whole support system for your craft.
Weekly open mics & jams
A reliable stage every single week, so you can practise, experiment and grow in front of a real crowd.
End-to-end event management
